Hockey World League Semi-Finals 2017 at Lee Valley Hockey and Tennis Centre - 15th June 2017 - 25th June 2017

The world’s finest male hockey teams continue their seeking for glory in the Hockey World League Semi-Finals.

Olympic venue once again welcomes the top teams from around the world in this electrifying World Cup qualifier.

Highlights include Encounter Saturday on 17 June with India, England, Korea and the Netherlands all in action, and Super Sunday on 18 June which sees India take on Pakistan and England battle it out with Argentina.

TROOPING THE COLOUR - 17th June 2017

It is the The Queen's Birthday Parade

The troops from the Household Division honour the Queen's official birthday with a fantastic military parade at Horse Guard Parade.

Since the 17th century, the Trooping the Colour ceremony has been held every year to mark the sovereign's official birthday since the accession of King George IV in 1820, except during the world wars and a national strike in 1955.

The Queen herself attends the ceremony. She is first escorted in a carriage from Buckingham Palace to Horse Guards Parade. where she carries out an inspection of her troops, then leads her Guards in a parade back down The Mall to Buckingham Palace. At the palace, the Queen takes the salute, and guns are fired in Green Park and at the Tower of London

The public ballot for seated tickets is now closed. But you can watch some of the event for free by standing along The Mall or on the edge of St James's Park overlooking Horse Guards Parade from 9am.

The ICC Champions Trophy at The Kia Oval - 18th June 2017

The world’s top eight one-day sides are set to battle it out at three major venues across England and Wales, ICC Champions Trophy.

England will look to avenge the recent test defeat by Bangladesh as they kick off the tournament with a Group A clash at the London ground, which hosts four other group matches featuring the likes of Sri Lanka, South Africa, Australia and India.

The winners will be crowned in the final at The Kia Oval on 18 June, as the one-day tournament comes to an end.

London Hong Kong Dragon Boat Festival at London Regatta Center - 25th June 2017

Gather at London Regatta Centre. To cheer on the racers at the 22nd annual London Hong Kong Dragon Boat Festival.

Up to 40 different club, corporate and amateur teams will compete to win one of four trophies throughout the day.

Try East Asian street food while watching the race and be entertained by traditional Chinese lion dancing, martial arts displays and live music from the festival stage and enjoy a family-friendly day out.
